Control
This is my must-see movie of the year!I’ve been a huge Joy Division fan for decades so I’m really looking forward to the movie Control (10/10/2007), which focuses on the band’s enigmatic and tragic frontman, Ian Curtis. Control marks the feature film directorial debut of photographer and visual artist Anton Corbijn who has had a long-standing creative collaboration with many influential bands, including another of my favorites, Depeche Mode.
(A bit of trivia: Joy Division borrowed their name from the prostitution wing of a Nazi concentration camp in the 1965 novel The House of Dolls.)
