Whitley Strieber's Unknown Country
Do you guys read Whitley Strieber? His Communion (a non-fiction description of his experiences with non-human entities) is one of my all-time favorites. Some of his descriptions in that book are absolutely terrifying.I don't know how Strieber feels about the movie version of Communion, but I enjoyed it, particularly Christoper Walken. Of course, I love Walken in pretty much anything.
If you haven't checked out Strieber's website, Unknown Country, I highly recommend that you do so. It's fascinating reading, and his post on the 'evil gene' inspired a plot twist in The Whispering Room (MIRA Books, March, 2009).
