I have so many things I want to accomplish this year, so many books I want to write—another Graveyard Queen title, an Intrigue, a YA and possibly an ebook series—so I’ve decided to get myself in shape both mentally and physically. I’m going into training for a writing marathon. I’m eating healthier–lots of fresh fruits and vegetables–exercising, and trying to get into bed at a decent hour, which for me is anytime before 2 a.m. I’ve also talked my husband into doing a juice cleanse with me. It wasn’t hard since he’s a vegetarian and already disciplined, but getting him on board accomplishes two important things: misery loves company and he’ll clean up the juicer. >:-}
I’m hoping my energy level will sky rocket, but I’m good with anything between comatose and hyper hypo:
Last week, I found out that I’m going to be on the cover of an Italian magazine. Yay! This is yet another incentive to get myself in shape as I need new publicity shots. On a scale of one to I’d-rather-have-bamboo-shoots-stuck-under-my-nails, having my picture taken is only a rung or two below trying on swimsuits and public speaking.
If anyone has any photographer recommendations in the Houston/Austin area, please let me know!
