It’s impossible to put the book down until the end of the story. Indeed, we learn the true little by little, exacerbating our curiosity continually. We fall in love with Angus this beaten, heart breaking dog. It’s so nice to see Amelia with this little fantastic animal.
Between Dreams and Reality

This is one of those reviews I am going to have to try and control my fan girl like moments in!! I loved the first book The Restorer and amazingly this book (The Kingdom) was just as awesome!! Its creepy and beautiful and just has this whole package of mystery!!

This is undoubtedly the creepiest, spookiest and awesomest series I have ever read! Okay so I haven’t read The Prophet yet but Amanda Stevens is seriously one hell of a writer. If you’re into horror/scary stuff, then The Graveyard Queen series will definitely give you shivers!
Kindle and Me

The Kingdom is the second installment in this series and I have to admit that I think its even better than the first book. Amanda Stevens has delivered another story that will have your heart pumping, your blood racing, and your mind trying to piece together all the clues.
Reading Lark

There have been four books in my reading lifetime that have completely blown me away and reminded me why I love a good book. One of them happens to be The Kingdom. It completely blew my expectations out of the water and really made one hell of an impact.

……….

The Restorer is a near-perfect first book in a series…an involving and nicely challenging read, and Amanda Stevens is more than happy to assume you’re smart enough to keep up, which is exactly how a book like this should be written: with wit, charm, and a thoroughly likable main character.
New York Journal of Books

Although at times unnerving, The Restorer is well written and intriguing, and an excellent beginning to a new series.
Ft. Worth Examiner

The description of not only the characters, but the setting and story as a whole was so incredibly vivid, I was even a little afraid to go upstairs after finishing the book in case the ghosts had actually leapt from the page. THE RESTORER more than deserves a Perfect 10 rating, because this truly is a beautiful, haunting tale that will stick with you long after you close the book.
Romantic Reviews Today (A Perfect 10)

The beginning of Steven’s Graveyard Queen series left this reviewer breathless. The author smoothly establishes characters and forms the foundation of future storylines with an edgy and beautiful writing style. Her story is full of twists and turns, with delicious and surprising conclusions. Readers will want to force themselves to slow down and enjoy the book instead of speeding through to the end, and they’ll anxiously await the next installment of this deceptively gritty series.
RT Reviews (4 1/2 stars; a top paranormal pick)

I love this book! Amanda Stevens’ The Restorer gives the reader a fascinating character–who interacts with more fascinating characters! Ms. Stevens has managed the difficult feat of combining charm and chills.

I absolutely LOVED this book. Completely and utterly AMAZINGTASTIC. Not only was the plot gripping but the language was hauntingly beautiful.
My Shelf Confessions

This book is just fantastic. It’s haunting, eternally intriguing and and somehow intimate. I cannot wait for the rest of the series.
The Cait Files

It’s rare that an opening line grabs me as this one did. In that one sentence, I was sucked in for the rest of the book. It’s also not often that I love a book so much I want to shove it into the hands of the first (possibly unwilling) pair of hands I see and yell, “read this read this READ THIS!” The Passage by Justin Cronin was one of them, The Fever Series by Karen Moning another. It was that good.

Absolutely adored the way Mrs. Stevens wraps beautiful imagery with brilliant text. You MUST get a copy of this book on it’s release day! I learned new words, I fell in love with the descriptions of the cemeteries & even better I fell head over heals in fan girl lust with Amanda Stevens. I love her & want to have her book babies.
Wicked Little Pixie

This book is brilliantly thrilling, crossing the paranormal novel with a murder investigation.
Serendipity

Ms. Stevens has the skill, the envious talent of painting such a vivid mental picture with words that I was right there with Amelia in every scene. Talk about edge of your seat!
Night Owl Reviews (5 stars; Top Pick)

The Restorer has managed to place itself firmly at the top of my favorites list, being the most surprisingly unique and engrossing reads that I have read so far this year. Highly Recommended.
Fiendishly Bookish

The twist at the end! My jaw quite literally dropped in the last few chapters when I was blindsided by something that completely blew my mind. I usually pride myself on figuring out the twists in mystery novels, but Amanda Stevens is apparently a master at the twisty because I was completely taken aback by one of the reveals.
Romanceaholic

I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a good suspense that will suck you in and and not let go until the very end. Definitely a compelling and chilling read that you will not want to miss.
A Book Obsession

The Restorer was an entertaining, suspenseful novel that kept a good balance between the living and the dead, and between the romance and the mystery. I thought the author did a brilliant job by giving us just enough tantalizing bits of information to keep us reading frantically to the end,
