I so disagree about Clive as Rick. What woman would leave HIM? I think I'd cast Tommy Lee Jones :)
Twenty years ago, I would have agreed with you. I think TLJ may be a little too old for that part now. Their other choice for Rick was George Clooney. So not feeling that one.
NO, not George Clooney for Rick! ACK! I do like GC, but he isn't right for Rick. Hmmmm.....Clive would work, but I agree with Heather, who could leave him???
I like Cate Blanchett for Ilsa.
Jude Law works as Victor.
Yes, Cate Blanchett! The right mix of vulnerability and strength. Also I think Kate Winslett could be good. How about Daniel Craig as Rick? He has that same craggy toughness as Bogart.
